Songket is a tradisional Malay weaving art in which gold threads are woven by hand into a very tightly woven to create geometric designs. It is hand woven in silk or cotton, and intricately patterned with gold, silver or rainbow threads. The metallic threads stand out on the background cloth to create a shimmering effect. In the weaving process the metallic threads are inserted in between the silk or cotton weft (latitudinal) threads of the main background cloth. The term 'songket' comes from the Malay word menyongket, ‘to embroider with gold or silver threads’. It is used to make "Kain Samping" and "Baju Kurung" and worn mainly during official functions and wedding ceremonies.

1) Songket Bunga Tabur
The beautiful and famous hand made Terengganu Songket. This songket is used to make kebaya, kebarung or other modern clothing.
2) Songket for Men (Kain Samping)
Very beautiful and gorgeous hand made Terengganu Songket. Made from silk or cotton and intricately patterned with gold, silver or rainbow threads.
3) Songket Tenun Sutera
It is very rare, gorgeous and exclusive. This songket is made from 100% silk and is much sought by Ministers and VIPs.
